Why IV delivery matters

IV therapy delivers nutrients, vitamins, and minerals directly into your bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system entirely. That matters because oral absorption is variable: gut health, age, medication use, and individual biology all affect how much of any nutrient actually reaches your cells. IV delivery removes that variable.

At Lifetime, every IV protocol is medically prescribed based on your lab work, your symptoms, and what your physician is trying to move. It's not a wellness menu. It's targeted intervention.

NAD+ IV therapy

NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is a coenzyme present in every cell of your body. It plays a central role in energy production, DNA repair, and the longevity pathways scientists most often connect to slowed aging. NAD+ levels decline naturally with age, dropping by up to fifty percent between forty and sixty.

IV NAD+ restores those levels in a way that oral supplementation can't match. Members commonly report improvements in cognitive clarity, energy, exercise capacity, and overall vitality. NAD+ also supports cellular repair mechanisms that influence long-term biological aging.

Other IV protocols

Beyond NAD+, we run targeted IV protocols based on what your testing shows you need most:

  • Recovery protocols (B-vitamins, magnesium, glutathione, amino acids) for athletic recovery or post-illness restoration

  • Immune-support protocols (high-dose vitamin C, zinc, immune-boosting nutrients) during or after infections

  • Cognitive support protocols (NAD+ paired with methylated B-vitamins and amino acids) for focus and clarity

  • Custom blends built around your specific deficiencies as identified by your annual panel

How IV fits a Lifetime membership

IV protocols aren't standalone services here in Los Gatos. They're prescribed by your physician when they fit your plan: sometimes as part of a recovery protocol during high-stress training periods, sometimes for cellular optimization in Optimization and Executive members, sometimes when oral supplementation isn't moving your numbers.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Answers To Common Questions

We believe in transparency. Here are answers to the most common questions about our approach and programs.

How long does a session take?

Most IV protocols take between thirty and ninety minutes depending on the formulation. NAD+ infusions are typically on the longer end, given slowly for comfort and absorption.

How often will I need it?

Frequency depends entirely on what your plan calls for. Some members do IV once or twice a year for specific protocols. Others do it monthly. Your physician sets the rhythm based on your goals and what's working.

Does it hurt?

The needle insertion is mild. Most members spend the session reading or working. NAD+ can occasionally cause a flushing or chest tightness sensation during infusion, which is the reason we administer it slowly. Our clinical staff monitors you throughout.

Can non-members get IV therapy?

IV therapy at Lifetime is delivered inside a membership. We don't run it as a walk-in service because every protocol is built around your full diagnostic picture.
